We do upcycle not only vintage kimonos from Japan, but other vintage/used pieces from other part of the world. This time I did upcycle Indian dress into a small purse. It was a dress (with very beautiful floral embroidery all over) but many part was damaged. I carefully cut and keep the perfect shape ones, and gave them another life as Kinchaku purse. It is 100% cotton, the cord is Edo Uhihimo from Japan, and I added wood beads for the accent. Inside is lined with bright rich fuchsia cotton fabric. It is great for carrying your earphones, charger cords, coin purses, keys, lip sticks, sanitary/toiletry items.. whatever you can think of. :) It is made to order, but a lots of time I have completed ones as well. Please Spot cleaning by hand. Please be careful that the cords can be discolored by getting wet.
